Reading is a really good habit to cultivate in your children. It will help feed their curiosity for knowledge and help them in their education. It will also grow their creativity and help them find success in many different ways. The habit of reading should be cultivated in children at a young age. However since kids by nature, can be energetic and prefer running around and playing outside you will have to find ways to make reading seem fun and make it appealing to them. Read to your children

Since very young children wont know how to read yet, you can begin by reading to your children. Bedtime stories are a popular way in which parents spend time with their kids each night and introduce them to the world of books. Children can see the pages as you read them and learn to identify words and the sounds they make while you read them.

Create a reading spot

You can create a small reading spot for your children. This can be a spot with big comfortable furniture such as an infrared sauna feeling rejuvenated and replenished so that they will love spending time there.

Pick a spot with a lot of sunlight, possibly near a window or a porch if your house has one. Make this space colourful so and appealing to your children by filling the space with big cushions that they can sit on. Also have small shelves where they can keep their favourite books for easy access.

Sometimes parents might decorate the space according to a theme in a favourite book. You can also do this with multiple posters of characters from various books your children love.

Bring their favourite stories out of the pages

Find ways to bring their favourite character out of the pages and into the real world. If you have an outdoor space your children can occupy they can incorporate these stories into their playtime as well.
